CONSUMER FINANCE ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS DATABASE
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF USE
The Consumer Finance Enforcement Actions Database is a result of the enactment of SB 185 (126th General Assembly, effective January 1, 2007) and is intended to assist consumers interested in researching or gathering information about enforcement actions taken by the Division, as well as enforcement actions taken by the Attorney General’s Office and civil judgments issued in Ohio against companies or individuals subject to Ohio’s Residential Mortgage Lending Act (Ohio Revised Code Chapter 1322).
When conducting a search, it is advisable to not only search for the person with whom you have had, or plan to have, a business relationship, but also to search for the company employing that person.
The Division disclaims liability for errors or omissions.
The information contained in the database is updated on a regular basis, but should not be considered as a substitute for the appropriate official documents of the Division, the Attorney General’s Office or the clerks of court. The Division strives for accuracy, but the database may contain errors & omissions, including, but not limited to, technical inaccuracies or typographical errors.
Users should note that information that has been recently received by the Division may not necessarily be reflected in the database. If you cannot find the person, entity or information you are seeking, you may wish to conduct a search at a later time.
